This program allows HR professionals to earn Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification through approved training courses.

SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certifications are valid for 3 years.

To maintain your SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, you need to earn 60 PDCs every 3 years through approved SHRM-recognized training.

After completing any SHRM-recognized training, you will receive PDC credits, which you can submit via the SHRM Recertification Portal.

The Talent Management Institute (TMI) offers three progressive, globally recognized certifications tailored to HR professionals at different stages of their career journey:

• Talent Management Practitioner (TMP™)

• Senior Talent Management Practitioner (STMP™)

• Global Talent Management Leader (GTML™)

At present, Envolve Alliance focuses on offering two (2) main certifications: TMP™ and STMP™. In Malaysia, there is strong demand for professional certification among HR practitioners, especially those ranging from Senior Executive to Senior Manager levels. Hence, we focus primarily on these two certifications to meet market needs.

To determine the best-fit certification, consider:

• Your experience level: How many years have you spent in HR or Talent roles?

• Your career goal: Are you looking to deepen core HR expertise or lead organizational transformation?

• Your current role: Are you executing HR processes, managing teams, or shaping strategy?

• Eligibility tracks: TMI offers multiple candidacy tracks (e.g., for those with formal HR degrees, those with other degrees but HR experience, and corporate nominations).

As an Authorized Education Provider (AEP) of the Talent Management Institute (TMI) in Malaysia, Envolve Alliance offers certification training workshops that contextualize TMI’s materials and content for the Malaysian market.

• Talent Management Practitioner (TMP™) program runs for 5 days.

• Senior Talent Management Practitioner (STMP™) program runs for 7 days.
  
  

On the final day, participants will undergo an assessment designed by Envolve Alliance to evaluate their understanding and to serve as preparation for the official TMI examination. As such, participants receive dual recognition certification through this process.

Please be reminded that the official TMI examination is not designed or administered by Envolve Alliance. Upon registration, you will have 180 days to schedule your TMI exam (this period includes the training days conducted by us). Once your learning system is activated, you may schedule your exam directly through the TMI website at your convenience.

Yes, Envolve Alliance offers installment payment plans with flexible durations of 6, 9, or 12 months.

If you do not pass the exam on your first attempt, you may resit the exam within another 180 days. The resit exam fee is USD 50, and this fee will be borne by the participant.

If you miss this time period, TMI will reset your validity to a new one-year cycle, and you may be required to pay the original certification fee at TMI’s prevailing retail price.

Please note that the entire certification process must be completed within a one-year cycle starting from your official enrolment date with us.

Please note that Envolve Alliance is not responsible for paying the resit examination fee in the event that a participant fails the exam.

The decision to award a TMI credential is not solely based on an individual’s raw exam score. While a score between 65% and 70% is generally considered a passing range, the TMI Professional Certification Board applies a benchmarking process that scales the actual scores of examinees for each exam section and compares them against the entire pool of candidates.

This approach ensures that examinees from different regions are not unfairly affected by systemic or language barriers, and that the certification award decision follows an equitable, affirmative-action–based methodology.
